-6 or -8 fuel hose?

I'm looking to buy a fuel rail kit and see some use # 6 an or # 8 an hose. What size should I be looking to buy? I'm making 740 rwhp right now, and may go up in the future. Running a ZL1 pump & stock lines at the moment. Thanks.

Not necessarily. This is what I was told by Andy; PTFE lines flow better than a standard line. The PTFE -6 is supposed to flow almost as good as the -8 standard and they don't permeate the smell of gasoline.

I told him I want to be able to provide enough fuel for 1000 hp or more and he still recommended the -6 PTFE.

Take this for what it's worth.

If your thinking of going anywhere close to the 1k mark I would look at the PTFE -6an or the standard -8. I mentioned the benefit of the PTFE above. Good luck.

I'm running the stock feed adapted to a -8. That splits into (2) -6 lines for each rail. I have had no fueling issues.
