G-Force Performance Chip for Camaro

I got ad on my gmail page for this seemingly miraculous little chip than supposedly anybody can install on their 4th and 5th generation Camaros. It advertises gains up to 60HP, fuel economy up 4-6 mpg, and lower emissions.
Here is the link:
http://www.gforcechips.com/chevroletcamaro.aspx

Can they really back up their magical claims? If so, why isn't everyone else getting these? I'm planning on adding aftermarket exhaust and a centrifugal supercharger once they are released. Would something like this be beneficial?

You know that old saying? If it sounds too good to be true....

Some of their claims may be true but only for the LS3 V8 engines. Don't count on it for the V6 engines.

You realize that supercharger will be limited by the fact you can't tune a v6 camaro. They still may make fairly nice HP gains.

The V6 isn't officially cracked yet, but there are some tuners out there that can apparently do it. Either way, I don't feel like getting into a discussion about this right now.

I have spoke with people who have used these chips in the past on other rides and they speak highly of them. One guy have a v6 camaro like 3rd or 4th gen. THe site didn't say if they worked on the 5th gen v6 or not. Would like some feed back from people who have them.
Also I may add this would deff void the waranty. For me personally I would prob wait till after waranty expires to try things like this.

Another thing if a chip can improve gas and add power then why wouldn't GM put them in the car from the factory?

Because they have to ensure that the engines last for 100k miles first or else pay warranty claims. All manufacturers could get more MPGs or HP out of an engine but at the expense of longevity.

I see. I sent a message to customer support and was told they do have a chip for the 2010 v6 camaro and they state it will not void the warranty as it does not alter or modify any of the factory settings.
Here is a quote off the site.

"Regardless of your driving style our chip will provide a substantial increase in performance over
stock. All of these benefits are achieved without disassembling or reprogramming your ECU
thereby preserving your factory warranty or permanently altering your car in any way shape or form.
We offer a solid product that we stand by, so much so that if you are not satisfied in any way we
will offer you a 100% no questions asked refund, this is what sets us apart from our competition.
Our GForce Chips may sound too good to be true, but let us say that the results speak for themselves."

I have to admit for just $69.00 I am very tempted but as someone above posted my mind keeps telling me "If something is too good to be true then it prob is."

Ask to see the proven dyno sheets then. All they sent you is words.
