It's possible to have it by Friday- but even though you're only 20 miles from the DC- you've gotta wait for a truck to pick it up and bring it that 20 miles. LOL

I hope you get it soon. I'm supposed to get mine tomorrow. We'll see.

to funny...I've been telling my folks at work, I feel like "a kid waitin' on Christmas!" or sometimes I'm like "I feel like a teenager about to get their first car!"

Arrived at the Buffalo NY Intercahnge yard at midnight last night. Any ideas how long it typically takes to make the railcar shuffle to Mass.

I think every time I talk to my salesman I mention about not installing the front plate. I've been told don't worry they won't...

I emailed my salesman this morning and asked if he could take the bracket out of the trunk and on his desk so no one else can mistakingly put it on, not knowing I don't want it.

I seriously am having a bit of anxiety over that!

I emailed him back and said, "I expect to get my car NO later than Saturday!"
Guess we'll see. You'd think they could hussle over to the rail yard and pick 'er up for me....LOLOLOL!!!!!! NOT!

This sounds typical. My car is supposedly coming off the rail system tomorrow morning here in California, so I figure it's SOON... and after calling my dealership today he says "you're probably still about 5-10 days out... by the time it gets on a truck, gets here..." Ugh.

I hate the UP system, it can never understand my tracking number. And typing in just the digits doesn't help coz then it can not find it in the system

I know...my rail car arrived Sunday evening, 9/25 but didn't unload until yesterday, 9/27 after 6PM. It's like, "really?" "Are you people really going to mess with me some more"??? LOL

So if your car goes to a busy DC and they don't have room on the main line to place your rail car to unload, you may not get unloaded the same day it arrives[you may get the lovely message of "constructively placed; loaded"]. I'm not trying to dampen your spirits, but you might want to figure on not getting unloaded the day it arrives, then add another day to get it loaded on the transport truck, then ever how far you are from the DC. And I know from being around the dealership with my dad, they might not be able to service it the day it arrives, and get it in your hands. :(

I stopped being patient the day after I ordered the car!! j/k, but really, it's rediculous how long we've had to wait!

First impression with GM- not so good. Dealership wasn't helpful at all. Hopefully GM will redeem themselves. :(
