I'll have to get in touch with my builder..but if I'm correct, I'm pretty sure I remember him saying all of the Intake valves, and one of the exhaust....

So after taking some time away from c5 and trying to figure out the issue...i got in touch with Ryan, got him to build me a custom tune, got my tuner to play around with a couple of his tunes also..and...its still won't stay on...

It wouldn't read the MAP sensor, so i went out and changed that, (along with getting a strong MAF). While reading the vehicle diagnostic, and correcting the air to fuel ratio, the car will only maintain power if my foot is on the gas. Once i take it off, the car completely shuts off. When the car is on, it reads an OL fuel error which my tuner thinks could be due to the fact that, my JBA long tube header o2 extenders are only reregistering for the rear and not the front. He even took the time to delete the front and it still isn't acting right.

Im honestly at a lost...we have tried everything...even a GPI tune...and still no luck... :(

(any comments will gladly be appreciated. Thank you!)

I sometimes have a similar issue... my idle is set to 750-800 and sometimes the engine will die before it attempts to hold idle.

Just reread this.. I'm pretty sure the front 02 sensors are what you need active... the rears are the ones you can ignore. Would be nice if someone were to verify, but I'm pretty sure you dont even need the 02 extenders, theyre just for aesthetics.

Your tuner doesn't appear to know what he's doing. I guarantee you Ryan's tune would at least hold idle if the car was put together right. The front O2 sensors should NOT be disabled. They drive closed loop. With that said, the car should idle fine on Ryan's tune even after your tuner defeated the car's ability to run in closed loop. If he can't get it to run right in closed loop, then he has no business messing with open loop.

No time to read the whole story but you definitely need FRONT O2 being enabled. The rear O2 sensors are just to check the system to confirm the front two are on. They honestly have no benefit to have in. But the front are the must.
Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Thank each and every single one of you that have given input. Since I deleted my cats, are the extenders even needed?

I would stop letting that guy touch you motor based on that post about O2 sensors.

Sorry to say but I agree with this guy^^ sounds like your tuner shouldn't be tuning.... you need to go over basics again 1 by one. Put ryans tune back in and go from there. I might of missed it but the valves were replaced correct? Who did the work? Have you performed a compression test and leak down test to confirm your good on compression and your valves were properly seated? (Lapped?)
