that's just the beginning my friend. the government spends 1.2 trillion a year more than it collects. we can't keep going like that forever, and the entire combined income of the top 2% is about 240 billion. so even if the federales took all their income the annual deficit would still stand at almost a trillion dollars. guess where they'll come for the rest

hardly snuck up on us, that is what all the fiscal cliff talk was about.

$2500 isn't that bad, I got dinged for closer to $6500

The Social Security adjustment....yeah kinda knew it was coming but the reality of it threw me. We still have the kids college tuition deduction,at least for now.

It's a cut in pay no matter how you look at it

Then congress voted themselves a 3% pay increase last week..go figure :(

yeah no $hit.. I have been on salary freeze since 2009 because of this crapped out economy (the continued excuse from my company) and now I am getting $125 less because of the tax mess.

I'd like to do the L99 > LS3 conversion but I'm not sure if I will have enough.

I actually have a friend on here who is supposed to hook me up with the L99 to LS3 conversion plus a cam and other upgrades. So my tax refund check would be a nice boost for me to get started with that.

hahah that's a crazy amount! they wouldn't charge you it if you couldn't afford it though
