They open very wide. I have a one car bay I park mine in too. My neighbor said to put foam up where the door opens around on the wall to cusion it if it opens too much. What a great idea. I got some orange colored foam and it looks good too. Obviously you can get any color. I covered with a couple of sheets and tacked up with nails in very high and low corners so the door won't hit the nails either. Doesn't look bad at all.

I have a one car garage, and yes the doors -can- open very wide if you aren't paying attention. I park so that the door opens up into a padded insulation area, just in case that happens.

I have a 1 car garage thats very tight. Just couldn't see my baby in the ice and snow. Put it this way, the passenger has to get out prior to me pulling in the garage, lol. Have about 3 ft gap to open door. Using 1 of my football scoop pads for now and hung a tennis ball on a string that hits windshield so I know when to stop. Also taped a line on floor to follow with tires. Plan on building my detached garage next year 3 car stalls and game room on 2nd floor. Plan is for WIDE stalls!

I live in an apt community. I pay for a garage to stow the TSX, buts narrow for that car too. I have spot marked on the wall that meets with the driver side mirror so I know when to stop. When I get the camaro I am goin to line all three walls with foam

My car is in an 8X20 container.. Barely fits..! I have to keep the passenger side mirror 1 inch off the wall so i can have maybe 10 inches to squeeze out of the driver door..Good thing im as thin as i am... Its scary pulling it in and out...but until i can build a garage it will have to do..Its out of this snow we r gettin...thats all that matters to me.

Now that's a tight fit, but like you said, better than being out in the snow.

I have two Camaros in a two car garage. Aprox. 2' from walls to mirrors and aprox. 2'-6" between cars. I installed a set of Park Smart Wall Guards on the garage walls because i have to open the doors until they touch the walls to get in and out. It would be great if my garage was 3' wider.

I park in a one car garage, and the garage door entrance is tight, but once in I move to the right at an angle and the driver door opens just fine. I have also padded the sides of the walls where the doors would touch just in case.

Same here!!!...better a 'tight-fitting' garage than no garage!!!...I just have to let the passenger out before I pull in, and then I have to open the driver side door VERY CAREFULLY!!!...
