Let me add my thank you for the video, GTAHVIT....I would never have tried this project without it, or at least something similar to it. Took the facia off today and my grille should be here within the next day or two so I will finish the job then. I was a little surprised that the four bolts inside each side were not tighter than they were, they seemed to loosen quite easily. I'm already dreading installing the top two bolts back in.

A million thanks to you GTAHVIT. So glad that there are people around like you who donate so much time to help others.
You should have your own car show. You're way better than that dude with a mullet on spike, hehe. So I installed my heritage grill today, after watching through your videos it was a piece of cake. A couple things to add though. It is easier to remove and replug the wiring plug from inside the passenger wheel well once the inner well has been dropped or removed. With the nose on. No fumbling about when the nose is half off. Take note that some of the plastic push pins along the top of the nose (front edge of hood) may have some shims under them to help level the nose up with the hood. Remember how many and which plugs they go under. |

Thanks for the extra tips... When I pulled mine off I had forgotten about the harnes... I didn't know about the shims either.

Great video! I will use this to install a new front bumper on my 2012 V6. I am sure its pretty much the same like the V8

Thank you so much for the great video. I was able to install my heritage grille in no time at all because of the fantastic instructions you provided.

When I put in the AAC red/white halos, I did not take the wheels off, but completely undid the wheel well, and layer it over the wheel. It was a MAJOR hassle! When I put red halos into my fogs, I put my car on jack stands and completely took the wheels and wheel wells off, and it made the job SO MUCH easier!! I definitely recommend taking off the wheels for anyone planning to do a DIY for any fender work.
