While a very glowing review...they got a few points wrong. The Mustang didn't gain 198 lbs..a 2014 Base GT to 2015 only picked up 86 lbs, part of which is going to power front seats, where the 14s didn't have.

The whole thing sounded extremely snobby and dismissive of everything else, which is understandable...just kind of unsightly.

Btw MT...you can get more power in the Challenger for roughly the same price that you were fawning over the Camaro for.

But all in all...a good win and a good feather in the cap for Team Camaro.

Congrats Chevy!

"Here’s one where the new Camaro might actually transcend the criteria. Is this the best production ponycar the world has ever seen? Without hesitation, yes. What was interesting to me is that we judge types weren’t talking about the Camaro in relation to the Mustang GT that we brought along as a benchmark. We were talking about future Camaro comparison tests against BMWs, Audis, and AMGs. I’d even throw Porsche into that mix. MacKenzie sums up our feelings: “A revelation. Absolutely world-class sports car performance and dynamics from an American icon. The new Camaro is one of the finest driver’s cars in the world. And that’s before you even talk about the price.” It’s also absolutely bitchin’, and it’s the 2016 Motor Trend Car of the Year."

I'd be interested to see how this Camaro would fare in the much more competitive market in Europe. Unfortunately the LT1 would be taxed heavily

When I saw the thread title, I thought it was going to be click-bait or something. As good as the 6th gen is, performance cars just don't win the Golden Calipers very often.

Good job Chevy!

Hopefully people will stop bitching about the price. It is worth every penny!!!

They tax on displacement. In Europe a 6.2L V8 is a gigantic engine.
