Buying and keeping for a very long time, possibly for life.

agreed. i don't think they would have a lease program for that car. beside i never understood leasing in the first place. Just paying the bank without gaining anything in return. Kind of like renting a house. you get nothing out of it, but the owner is banking your money.

I very highly doubt that they will lease them.
Not saying they won't, just saying I would be shocked if they do. |

Ive never known of a car that you cant lease. When they come out they only offer the buy option for about 6-9months then after that you can lease.

Originally I was considering leasing an SS. After looking into it, it made more financially sense to buy one. The lease payments AND final cash "loss" at the end of 2 years (using estimated residual and used car values) were both MUCH more than just buying it.
When i was looking into it, I read of some people (business owners or salesmen maybe?) being able to write off a leased car (Corvettes no less!) as a business expense for tax purposes. Otherwise, I can't see leasing as being advantageous .

I mean theres pros and cons to everything. Lease payment are relatively a lot less than buying option payments. And in three-4 years you get to switch the car to another no questions asked, there's always something better out

Leasing a vehicle is almost always more expensive than buying a vehicle over the course of one's possession of the vehicle, unless one is able to write off the lease as a business expense. The advantage to leasing, if one is short on cash and is planning on making payments, is that the monthly payments are generally lower than with a purchase, so the lease has a short term cash flow advantage.

If you keep the car less than 3 years lease. It makes more financial sense. With depreciation and interest you will be better off. If you want it longer finance or pay cash. I'm sure some of the higher end leasing companies will have a ZL1 or 2 hanging around with some lease options.

I'll be buying mine, even though my 2010 will be faster, and have more power.
