Paint sealant question

This past weekend I used Meguiars 205 and 105 the followed up with a couple of coats of CG's buttery wax.

My question is if I should have used some sort of sealant prior to the buttery wax since it doesn't have any sealant ingredients. If so should I get the wax off or can I apply prior over the wax. I was thinking about Adams Machine Super Sealant. Also did I miss any other steps I should have thought about?

BTW my foam cannon should be here on Friday so I have no problem having some more fun Saturday detailing a bit more!

Any advice from our detail experts would be appreciated. TIA.

If I may, I'd suggest using Chemical Guys Citrus wash to strip off the wax, dry, sealant application + curing, once buffed off, apply your wax, let it cure and buff off..

Some people do 2 coats of wax for better protection (also ensures you dont miss a spot).

Make sure you leave sufficient time for curing (smear test) based on the conditions of the place your detailing in.

Wax doesn't cure. Everything else is good advice though.

Thanks for the feedback.

This is what I have in my cart to pick up today: The citrus wash & clear, Vertua bond 408 & the Jet Seal 109.

Interested if anyone has opinions on this before I purchase this afternoon.

Edit: Went ahead and ordered my supplies. I think I'm set for the next year!
