keeping 6l80 , ya i know that not sayin that cause the setup on that car is what im kinda hoping to do later on would like to do a glide but dont know if that will happen. i guess size of shot would make a big diff to. i know a local guy went 8.9 or 8.8 in his c6z with the factory 6 speed. kinda what i was thinking a setup simalar but better with auto would go a good bit faster. but also i dont think he being 100% on the size shot lol.

Yeah you will never go 8's with a 6l80... PG,th400 or 4l80 is the way to go for auto

He was on vacation. I was down there with him tuning a few other cars.

thats what they said about having a manual go 8's too. my other buddy went way into the 9's and let out cause they were still tuning it fresh build with nothing but about 100 miles on the motor stock forged ls3 on a 100% stock 6l80 with a converter only. so i wouldnt say never. id say early this year u will see one in the 8's or very very very close to it on a stock trans. base car not a z either
