life is short, do what you want if it makes you happy as long as it isn't hurting others. personally seeing 28" rims doesn't hurt me.

I would imagine that is not a very comfortable ride. It definitely is not my taste. He deserves the car if he can afford to pay for it.

Yeah, but I've gotta question your judgment on the 28's as your the same one who thought muffler whistles were cool in a previous post!

You know I really don't understand some of you guys.

Some of you, some... Are clearly racist or have some not so subtle bias.
To say some one is a drug dealer or a thief because they have big rims is the dumbest shit ive ever heard and makes you look like a moron. If your offended so am I.

I don't get how every other day a thread like this pops up, yet one guy says he don't like the convertible camaro and the thread gets closed
Because it's not constructive. How is this any different.

Some of you need to get over the fact that not everyone has the same taste as you. Some people like big rims, don't make them a drug dealer. Some people like led lights everywhere and fake carbon fiber on anything they can think of. So what. If you don't like it, then you don't like it. But making blanket judgements against a group of people because you don't like there style is just plain stupid.

Because 44" tires on small pickups is very functional beleive it or not, high ground clearance, lower center of gravity with a smaller truck

i got 24s on my camaro. i like it. 28s way too big. he might have got a tahoe lol. but if u can afford it then when not. i tried to put the biggest rims on it, where i dont have to modify anything or raise the car. if it fits then why not!

Haha! Yeah, I agree. Their money, their car = it's NOT your business. But fat MT street tires in back with deep dish slotted mags or slotted chrome steels, and those almost standard aftermarket Cragar SS wheels were a sign of the times.

OT, a friend of mine in school had a 65 Mustang fastback with a 289 Cobra engine in it. That thing was quick! He put a straight tube front end on that thing. It was like popping a continuous wheelstand and it rode like crap. Crappier than a standard Mustang, if that's possible. I'd HATE to parallel park something like that or get stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic. That would be dangerous.

+1. I hate the look but it ain't mine so I don't really care. Some ppl don't like rally stripes on the car some do. Some don't like the chrome wheels some do. To each his own.

Did I say I hate the look though?
