If he has a Monte Carlo SS (Supercharged) and its stock (the way it came from the factory) it is no match for a Camaro SS.

If he really has is a stock Monte Carlo SS, I find it had to believe he thinks its faster than a 400+hp Camaro SS (13.0 @ 110 mph in most magazines).

But is it really a stock Monte Carlo SS? Some guys like modding the older models.

Well, I'm shocked at what people actually believe nowadays.
OP, just hand him is butt and hopefully that will educate him a bit.

Imagine the torque steer a supercharged v8 would have!

Maybe the guy bought a used monte with an S/C LS1 dropped in it and he thinks that is how they come "stock"

Simply ask him to pop the hood and inform him on what he really has then race him.

This is what I was thinking. Maybe he has an older Monte Carlo that's had an LS1 swap done and he added a blower. If that's the case, you might have your hands full OP.

Ironically, the V6's are just as bad....and the parts to make them fast are relatively cheap....

I believe it to be stock, he got it in 05' brand new according to him, and it has a supercharger put in it from the factory. So I'm thinking he might just THINK it's the V8, or....I dunno. Either way I'm sticking to my side and will keep talkin smack until he puts up or shuts up at the track. lol

Oh man, you get to have some fun with him then. Unless he's running a hidden 150 shot, you should lay the wood to him...

I have a 04 Impala SS supercharged from the factory I bought new. Its not even in the same ballpark as a Camaro.

I suspect that he has been saying that just to keep hope alive in his own mind. Either way he's had his car since he got to this command, and I've been through 3 (various trade-ins and what not.) Had an 03 supercharged Tiburon , switched to the 01 z28 convertible and now the 2011 SS . This whole time he's been talking about how his car is still faster and has YET to go to the track and put up....

Wouldn't pull the V8, but the V6 is a different story, it'd be awfully close on that one. the Monte would win the 1/8th, due to the better torque curve, but the Camaro would pull on it in the last half.
