Bad smell from 2007 Avalanche A/C vents?
There is a bad smell coming from the vents of my 2007 Avalanche and I can't figure out where it is coming from.
The smell comes out usually as soon as we start the car and turn on the A/C. We live in Phoenix so we always use the A/C everytime we drive anywhere. Anyone know a place in Phoenix where I can take our truck and have this fixed? |

It's from the moisture that gets into the foam insulation between vent junctions and the stagnates. On older cars, you'll actually have foam chunks start showing up at your vents. My 94 GT is doing that and has the smell right now to! Dealer or AC pro can help you out there!
