Guys, all the parts for my car finally arrived (well, not the A-Pillar gauge pod) and it's in the process of being put together now.

Last things to arrive were the Hendrix Axles, Supercharger and the ported heads. I don't think it'll be done this week but hopefully by mid next week. Guess my only weak link will be the driveshaft, we'll see

There's 1000hp cars running witht he stock driveshaft you wont see any problems there.

The clutch will slip if you keep the stock one though. mine did and I was only making like 512rwhp.

I finally disabled traction control on the car before we even tore it apart and I was having issues I doubt I'll be able to get any traction afterwards, I think I'm going to have to order slicks and skinnies.

Disregard my prior post about them being closed on Sundays. That was posted on April 1st. I guess they were referring to the points races only.
http://www.southwestdrags.com/forum/...ad.php?t=10384 Maybe it was an April Fool's Joke?

The latest posts say they ARE open Sundays. Does that mean I sat out last Sunday when it was open? Crap! that's about 6 times this has happened. At least. They need to send up smoke signals the days the track is open.

Alrighty then... So I talked to Vic Hernandez, he runs the drags, and the drags will be open on Sunday from 6 to 10. I will definitely go and I'm looking to see who wants to meet up some time before 6 maybe to get a bite to eat then cruise there. I'm thinking about Cheddar's at around 4:45 and take off from there.

Who's Down???????
