I don't like that the bracket sticks out farther than the bumper. Nice idea though.

Interesting, the racing stripe looks horrible though, please dont take that personal. Really like that Audi in the garage.

I'm a bit skeptical about doing this to mine, but here is something I just found. I'm not sure if it will work on the Camaro, but check it out and tell me.

It's a Maserati GranTurismo. Not an Audi.

Agreed. I bought an extra that I'm working on to fix that.

It looks like you have a towing bracket on the car when you have the plate down. The fact is if a cop pulls you over because he sees you do not have a front plate. Pushing a button and making one appear is not going to fool them. Most laws state it has to be visable at all times with no obstructions to block a clear view of the plate. The new police toys scan your license plate in less than a second and bring back all the information they need on you. So if it is not there they will know before you can pop it up.

Cool idea, just dont see any point. Take the ticket and drive without a front plate.

Just have it up always while driving. Brought it to my local police station and they said it's great because I can keep it legal (up) or for showing off (down).

I'd rather just drill 'em and say f*** it. Too much work IMO. But neat idea

Just as easy drilling and a tiny bit of wiring.

I like the NON-powered ones that you have to do by hand. I have one on my car. You just LEAVE the plate out all the time driving around and when you go to a show or take pictures you PUT the plate away. It's pointless to try and fool cops...

To the OP, looks good! Way better than the STOCK location!

They have a manual one, too, that I'd be interested in. I'd just be happy to not have a plate drilled in to my bumper.

It would scratch the paint otherwise. It's just a clearance.
