Alberta Camaro Meet - June 12, 2010 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Here are the details:

June 12, 2010

Edmonton Camaros will be meeting at the IKEA parking lot in Edmonton South Common at 8:00AM, leaving Edmonton 8:30AM.

Calgary Camaros will be meeting at the Deerfoot Mall, the Sears Parking Lot at 8:00AM, leaving Calgary at 8:30AM.

Meet in Red Deer at the Costco - 162, 37400 Hwy 2 - 10:00AM - 10:30AM. Take some pictures. Leaving Red Deer at 11:00AM. Rocky Mountain House is about an hour away.(We may want to stop for lunch in Rocky.) Sask. Crossing is about 270km from Red Deer. Some may be heading north to Jasper, 155km. We are planning to head south to Banff, 135km, possibly taking 1A into Banff. (Some of you have mentioned that it is much more scenic route and there are a number of places we can stop for pictures along the way.)

Personally, we are planning to stay the night in Banff at the Douglas Fir Resort. The place has 2 waterslides for the kids.

I don't mind heading up the Calgary Camaros. I would suggest meeting at Deerfoot Mall in the Bay parking lot at 8:00am and hit the road at 8:30

Just a heads up for everyone attending, the sask crossing restaurant will be open but it is very expensive, so you might want to pack a lunch or a few snacks for along the way.
Can't wait to see everyone on June 12th.
I will bring a video camera for some nice moving shots though some of the "S" curves or some of the hills for youtube.

I will definately be there, as long as I have my Camaro by then. I'm expected to get the replacement Camaro last week of April earliest so things should be fine for June.
