i posted this yesterday in scosche..from what i hear the alpine/scosche got moved back AGAIN due to the f*cks at gm... gm had to go and change bus stuff in the 2012 model - alpine /scosche wanted to make sure this was compatible for all 3 years...of course with gm changing some bus codes in the 12 model it was not compatible..they did make a new ship date for december, but as far as i know , they have not gotten everything worked out for the 2012 model..so it will be interesting to see if it gets bumped again..i believe if they were to release it now the 10-11 year is good to go...but if they are still code hunting, no way have they manufactured and packaged these units for shipping...

The 2012 just started selling. Just release it for the like 60K 2010 and 2011 models out there and then fix it for the 2012 when you can.

crazy they would push back again. most companies really try to make items available for Christmas sales...

that was asked, and that is def not happening from what i heard..i agree, make the money now from people wanting to upgrade or risk losing customers to the metra..the 2012 was gotten earlier by technicians, door chimes which play thru speakers and other things like that are not using same bus codes as the 10-11 model..

I just got off the phone with Scosche tech support asking them about Onstar capability. I asked him when it would released for sale. He told me early next year. He did not give a ETA.

Wow sucks that everything got moved back on this kit. I was interested but biggest problem is that the kit is 400 bucks with the onstar another 150 and since i like onstar its 550 for me then i gotta go out and get new head unit prolly a touh screen nav to make it look right so thats another grand. Then install and other things so this is still quite exspensive. I think ill wait it out.

I dont get this at all.... They already have this done in their show car. Just copy what you did in that car and put this thing out! Make changes for the 2012 model as needed a sell that version once its done!

I just got and update from Alpine directly. They are now saying the 2nd week of January, after the CES show.

HA! this is never ending, I'm starting to think they are just F-ing with us now. I'm sure the Scosche kit will also be delayed, if it already hasn't.

Yes, but it wasn't functional. The Alpine car was at a car show in July and it still wasn't fully functional. Now at SEMA the Scosche kit was fully functional, I sat in the car myself and played with all the controls and car options/menus.
