Here are my goals:
Want cats to be emissions-legal and avoid exhaust smell my wife hates
Want cat-back/mids setup with no drone, deep tone without raspy sound, open/hollow classic muscle sound similar to old flowmaster 40 series but maybe with a modern twist

So far, I have considered the Doug Thorley cat-back, as that seems to be an affordable solution, but I'm not sure what to do with the mids. I'd prefer something I can bolt on myself over having to weld on generic cats.

Any suggestions are much appreciated, thanks!

OBX now has catted connection pipes all bolt on, no welding. I just installed a set with my new OBX headers, very little smell. I got them from Erik at Lashway motorsports, he is a forum sponsor.

I did a muffler delete and added a magnaflow 2 in 2 out muffler/x-pipe combo in place of the stock h-pipe, it sounds awesome! Not raspy and very muscle car. I might do a video tomorrow and post it on the thread I started about my OBX headers.

This is the closest I have to idle. I'll try and take an idle clip when I get home in a week.

Stock manifolds, solo hi-flows, magnaflow comp cat-back and a CAI Inc. intake are the only mods I have.

One thing I will say is that even i with high quality audio, videos never do the systems justice. Mine has a much deeper bass note that you cant hear in the videos. I absolutely love the sound of corsa.

It's a pleasure, new camaro buyers will definately have foresight of what they want for their car before they buy it. An exhaust is a must for a V8 camaro if not for power, the sound.
