wasn’t using my 2-step so anything higher than probably 3k it pushes through my fronts brakes. so i was gonna use the 2-step so i could mat the throttle without having it rev to a point it pushes through

So your car footbrakes to 3k.

That's fairly normal..... I've cut 1.3x and a few 1.2x 60's doing that, with a p1-x.

Adding a 2 step doesn't make your launch any harder, just more consistently.

right i understand that, but i can’t build boost until wot, so foot braking and only having my car at half throttle basically has me leaving the line like a car with nothing but a cam. the only reason o even care about the 2 step is that it will limit me to a specific rpm while being able to go wide open, therefore building boost

2 step will not allow you to go WOT while standing still; only T-brake can do that. 2-step can help give you consistent launch by having consistent launch RPM

how do you figure you can’t go full throttle with a 2 step?

I tried it with my C7. If you continue pressing the gas further after reaching the 2-step RPM, the car keeps banging this limiter harder with much more body shake and violent exhaust pop & crackle. None of this happens after I installed a C7 transbrake

My C7 has a Mag 2650. Not sure if a Procharged car with a 2-step would act different

that is normal. it’s retarding the vehicles timing. I have set my 2-step higher and it’s less violent, but exhaust crackle and popping is normal with a two step. most people use 2-steps and transbrakes hand in hand

are you flashing or stalling the converter?

i’m trying to stall it it’s a circle d 3600 stall so i would think trying to bring it up wouldn’t start pushing me through my fronts but apparently i’m wrong

Try flashing it.

I could do 1.3x and some 1.2x with an a8

It's almost backwards of what you are accustomed.
What you are probably used to doing is letting go of the brake and then pressing the gas pedal down. Or doing both at the same time.

Push the brake down as hard as you can and bring the rpms up some (how much you will have to do trial and error to see what your car likes). Then floor the gas AND THEN release the brake. If you are datalogging in hp tuners, you will see the converter go further up in rpm until the car starts to move.

It takes a few tries but it works
