my Dell is gone away for servicing... so i'm relinquished to my old mac. and when you're not used to it, Office for Mac will make your brain explode.

I've got it now though!

wasn't too hard in the end, just had to select all the workbooks (right click, select all)
then just go to headers same as you would normally, and change them. excel applies it to all the headers selected then.

Sweet. Glad you got it worked out. Sorry I couldn't be more help - I'm used to openoffice.org since I run linux for my work/class computer.

unlikely.... excel went rogue and copied one of my statements into every sheet. overwrote the existing statement, and for some reason won't let me undo. i have no idea wtf i did. so, now i'm restarting.

fml.
