also, some places just don't adjust the computer for the dyno correctly.. and it DOES matter. I haven't had or run one for years now, but I still think calibration is key to real world numbers.. though it can still be ok to see gains and losses at the time... though the number itself may be wrong.

I may be going to JBA just to double check next week. Want a good base before the blower, cam, and fuel system goes in.

u should find a new dyno shop. That is a very high reading. Granted some engines dyno more than others.... but you are talking about a 68 rwhp difference here. And to top it off, it was on a dyno dynamics dyno at that, so if you were to throw that thing on a dynojet, you are claiming you would be making almost, if not over 500 rwhp on a bolt on ls3

Is it possible that on the second dyno you actually were given "flywheel" HP/TQ and not rear wheel numbers? If you do the est. % lose through the drive train, the numbers look like this may be the big difference. Just a thought but still, great numbers with what you have had done to it.

I hate to be Buzz Killington..but..

DynoDynamics dynos run high, usually by about 10-15% or so. If you can find a good Mustang or DynoJet unit you'll get a more true number.

Or run it down the track.

Take your car to the track. You should be running 11s @ 119 mph if your dyno numbers are real.

My guess is you'd be running much slower than that, which would indicate the dyno numbers are inflated.

some dyno operators want you to be in awe of your monster power, ansd some waznt you to be humbled. you can make a dyno give you whatever number you want, in reality./

as said, show me a timeslip.
my brother had his new srt8 challenger dynod, and i claimed to have a conservative 450 whp before my headers and corsa went on....so he thinks it will be a close race, roflmoa.
my maggie is the ace in the hole. he didnt say what his topped at, just that he thinks he can kick ass. i ran a 12.4 on stock air filter and exhaust with a da of 5800. he has no hope.
