Unless you get the SRT interrior, theres not to much to complain about there... Yeah they should of incorporated the ribbed seats into it, but that about it from my point of view... Ahh and maybe the steering wheel...

Holy crap, what did I start!
I was just trying to comment on the SE and my thoughts for anyone out there in the market for the V6. Gotta admit, its going to be a fun summer with these cars running around and the Mustang trying to catch up

The V6 Challenger vs V6 Mustang should be interesting, I think I might give the mopar guys the edge. And once the Chally gets the new V6 will give the LS and LT Camaros a decent run. But until then, the SE Challenger makes me

Nearest explanation that I can think of is that they designed the Challenger with trace paper on the outside, parts bin on the inside. Having said that, the result has turned out fairly well.

Lol be careful what topics you bring up on this site, there are some very passionate people here! But threads like these, that focus on friendly competition, are always good.

Yeah Chally v Stang (V6's) should be some close competition. It will be fun observing this matchup through the rearview mirror or my LT!

Tell me about it. I am on performance years and first gen firebird too. It's funny how usually the innocent intented posts stir up the most emotion
Sit back and enjoy the show.
Seriously though, for those of you out there buying these cars, remember that racing is best done at the drag strip. Dont be a fool and run on the street. I cant say that I havent been guilty of this in my younger days but I have had some close calls that stopped that crap. Too dangerous becuase you never know what the other guy is going to do. OK, off my soap box for now

390 HP and 405 ft of torque 6-speed manual, 4120 pounds

Vs

305 and 273 ft of torque 6-speed manual, 3741 pounds

This is how I see If you launch both cars I think the maro will be a bullet because of its lack of weight but..... when that torque kicks in that chally will pull ahead

The maro 0-60 is 6 seconds

the R/T 0-60 is 5.1-5.5 seconds

The RT is more powerful than expected (sneaky underrating Mopar ) while the V6 Camaro is heavier than we hoped. So it won't be as close of a race as we figured it might be

So its a pearl and not metallic? I've only seen the color once in a showroom but didn't pay too close attention to it..It does look very nice..

Honestly i think your inflating the Challys numbers a bit, everywhere i read, it has 375hp 398 ft Lbs,
and according to Edmunds the chally does a 0-60 in 5.9 the same number i believe gm is shooting for with the v6.

The 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T with its 375-hp 5.7-liter V8 and six-speed manual transmission accelerated to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds (5.5 seconds with 1 foot of rollout like on a drag strip), then reached the quarter-mile in 14.1 seconds at 100.8 mph.

Not hating on the dodge i think it looks bad ass and is sick but just giving facts and trying to get things straight

dont ever go by edmunds....they got a 5.5 for the srt8 stick,...while every other magazine got 4.6-4.7

the RT is underated ....it has the same engine as the new dodge ram which has 390 hp. Dont believe everything you read. the v6 will not stand a chance unless modded vs a stock RT
