Well for one your top end street racer should NOT be a soft top. No offense but hard top is superior of course for road racing.

For two... even Ligenfelters bottom of the line package would pown this hormone injected Horse.

For three lol Ford still has a PINTO style brake lever that rubs YOUR LEG if your really tall.

4 4 of course the Vette is in the slot where this Ford model not the SSCA5.

I couldn't help noticing that you're brand new and are defending a car that no one has yet either (No I'm not bagging the mustang or this article)...I don't think a newbie has the right to butt into the big boys conversations when they are defending a point that's not even part of the discussion, do you?

They're discussing the comparison between a supercharged mustang and a NA camaro that costs 20k less. They're not bashing mustangs, or their owners. Please get your facts straight before posting again.

Thanks!

they photo shopped that red color combo... the actual car on the inside of the mag has white stripes... and looks really sharp... The Cobra is an all around great car and performer, but it's a niche car... also the fact that it's not N/A it shouldn't be compared to cars that are N/A in my oppinion... Challengers and Camaro's with S/C's on them would roast the Snake...period...

So, you dont like my S-10 and you think we only bash Mustang owners.... I have a 5.0 LX Mustang as well as having previously owned a 1980 and 65 with a 289. And if you would read before disqualifying people.... I owned a 2002 Z/28, so while we all wait for your approval..... we will continue to discuss the facts.... the Mustang in the article is WAY more expensive than the Camaro... Since you own neither... are you qualified to join the conversation like a grown up???

the argument ain't about whether it's a good car or not. it's about the fact that they're comparing a supercharged $50000 car to a naturally aspirated $35000 car

And second of all, how can you compare the two? If they would have been "fair" they would have put the GT Mustang with 315hp compared to the SS Camaro with 426hp

"Take that Mustang!"

And you drive a Toyota Tacoma

I deleted my post.
Its impossible to compare the two accurately until they both are in production status on the road, competing with each other. That being said, currently I'm pretty exclusively intimate with the current and 2010 Mustang/GT500 for my work and I won't post an uninformed opinion until I get my Camaro. I'm obviously biased towards Camaro, that's why i'm here and I have one on pre-order. It would be much easier and cheaper for me to get a Mustang but i'm just not interested. I would hate for my post to seem like I'm putting down someone else's love for a car simply because i don't agree.
