What is it about the Camaro 5 that has people crawling out of bomb shelters after 30 years and on to the Internet?

News flash: the 305 was/is the second-most pathetic excuse for a Gen 1 SBC ever produced (307 takes the cake). The high feature V6 is a 30mpg, 300hp wonder -- this is not your 1982 2.8l carbed boat anchor. What would you put in? The 5.3, which makes less power and gets worse mileage than the HFV6?

Yellow is not "dark", nor is white. Along with silver, that's three "light" colors. Red, IOM, CGM and Aqua are "medium" at least, and CGM will show off the car's lines like crazy. Only black, IBM and RJT are truly "dark" colors. We don't know what the green is going to be. That sounds like a pretty even color distribution to me.

Go shopping at any other dealerships and see how many great color choices you see. Everything at the imports is some shade of metallic dirt. GM in general, and the Camaro in particular, have the best color palette on the market today.

With the exception of the silver exterior color, the other colors are too dark which makes the car look bland, notice they only use the silver in ads. Additionally, concerning the interior colors, that is the dash, the console the door covers, etc., I reckon we are back to Henry Ford's 1912 or so customer relations scheme "You can have any color you want as long as it is black".
nonsense like this is no biggie.
with fan HUNGER, AWESOME critical acclaim, and this being THE MOST exciting release.... PERIOD.... you need not worry about stupid remarks like this. its like someone stating (out of nowhere): Good sex is officially overrated and usually a bore.

See?

NONSENSE!

ROCK!!!

If you're not a troll, please learn some more about cars made in this century before you come b*tch about them.

Oh yeah, G.M. is bragging about the 29 mpg., my 77 at its best got 28 mpg, and consistently 25 hwy. That car was built over 30 years ago. Of course it wasn't a tire burner either but it had adequate power. And it was really a great car, and had a beautiful two tone blue interior and exterior. I wonder what those engineers have been up for 30 years.

Oh my Lord, you're not a troll? Oh sweet Moses this is going to be fun!

You realize there are FOUR different interior color options for the Camaro, and 10 exterior options, along with a multitude of appearance and performance options? So your 77 got the same highway mpg as the 2010 V8 with 400+ hp? And you're asking where the engineers went? Its not like gasoline got more flammable over the last 30 years. Both engines are pretty amazing.

If those engineers designed cars like you design sentences, we'd all be pushing our cars!
