Can not wait....
Hello everyone
Pick up my ZL1 about 2 month ago with 11 miles on it,was only window shopping and thinking about order a SS with 1LE package.Walked in the dealer and there he is sitting in the showroom.after thinking and talking to wife for a few days....I just had to have it.I have always mode my cars and even if I get a SS with 1LE package I most likly will spend at least $10000 in it to make it the way I want most likly even more and will never even get close to where ZL1 is, so I figure ZL1 would do...spend a little more get a car that is all DONE from the factory. And this thing is absouly a beast....looks so good and tough and have tons of power.....I have to go to the garage look at it at least several times a day....lol.So far I only did the Eibch coil springs and sway bars to improve the handling and look, and alsp pull the #8 fuse and also clear bra the front end.....oh and install rock guards, and so far has no plan to to anything else to it. only thing I will do is install a intake after brake-in....but the problem is now start a new business about 6 month ago and working 7 days a week 70+ hrs a week....try to drive it as much as I can(he is strickly a toy) and so far only be able to put 400 miles on it ( all under 4000 rmp and 80mph). I CAN'T WAIT TO HIT THAT 1500 MILES MARK!! change all the fluids and install the intake and really have some fun with it. Have a great Sunday everyone. |

Congratulations and welcome. I'm in So Cal also and have seen a total of 4 ZL1's in my travels. I do the garage thing too!

Why wait to install the intake? It wont void your warranty and while getting used to the car ( that is what break in actually is) you can hear the blower whine at least getting on the freeway.
