Yes I know that the Veyron can hit 260+mph with 5 miles of road, but many other cars can keep it in the rear view in a 1/4 and standing mile and speeds up to 210mph.

Ya, it would probably blow a tire during its 5 mile run to 260+mph.

Veyron doesn't need DR's because it already has AWD, weighs 4,200lbs and doesn't spin when clicking of sub 3 second 0-60. It probably wouldn't be as safe compared to its factory tires which are certified for it's weight/time at speed.

The NicKey Stage I option adds 100 rwhp and our Stage II better than 200 rwhp.

I can remember when Camaros only had 200rwhp or less!

I'm not saying this as a shop owner, but as a ZL-1 owner.
...that's what it's all about, the rush.

Gotcha, but mine are a seat of the pants observation, if you have any real time test results please post them. My obeservations are from personal driving under load and HP operaton since day one.

Mine felt quicker after the install, too, but the track numbers showed different. I've seen dyno numbers showing a 30 rwhp gain, but my track numbers didn't agree.

My SS felt a whole lot faster than the ZL1 does, a whole lot. And it was only 430rwhp.

That said, I'm ready for a bit more power too.
i felt that way too. in fact every time i drove the SS after the Z i would think it was jumpier, more responsive. i think its because of the bigger throttle body on the SS. put the 2 cars side by side and it suddenly doesn't seem the SS is so quick as the Z pulls away

I've owned several muscle cars: 340 Duster, 383 Roadrunner, 69 Mach 1, 72 Vette, 82 Z-28, and currently own an 03' Corvette and a 14' ZL1.

Out of all of them my ZL1 is hands down the best performance car that I've ever owned. I'm very satisfied with 580 HP.

Same here! 580 is plenty and often more than I need for the street. Something has to be pretty special to pass me on the highway if I don't want it to. Plus I love reliability and I don't want to have to keep taking my modded car back to the tuner to constantly have issues sorted out.

It's amazing how truly spoiled we are with these cars. I have been out of the country for the past couple weeks driving a car with no more than 120 hp at best, but here I am questioning the excitement my 580 hp car is giving me. I cannot wait to get back to my "slow" ZL1!!!

me and my buddie were laughing about this the other day. he has 2013 5.0 and I have my Zl1. we are both used to the cars and want more power. We piss and moan about being to broke to do all the mods we want but in reality both have a ton power and most people are just blow away when you go full tilt in them.

Nurburing?
Since you asked twice I decided to temporarily remove you from my ignore list just so I could quote you to post this.

WELL IT KEEPS GOING ON AND ON,BUT THE NEW COPO IS FASTER THAN BOTH OF THOSE CARS IN THE 1/4 DIDNT A STOCK NEW COPO BREAK INTO THE 9'S,ALL THEY DID WAS TUNE THE SUSPENSION,AND ADJUST THE TIRES,AND PLSY WITH THE COMPUTER,AND BANG IT RAN 9'S I THOUGHT I READ THAT SOME WHERE..IT WENT LIKE 10.20 10.02,AND 9.99
GO AHEAD AND SAY IT DOESNT COUNT BECAUSE ITS NOT A STREET CAR BUT THE STATEMENT WAS THE FASTEST CAMARO EVER ? THEY ARE RUNNING IN THE 8'S NOW IN WHATS CALLED THE STOCK CLASS,
