My SS is no longer my DD

This is the DD replacement...

Had to get something 4 door due to work, the GF and I found this 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE with 35k miles on it.
The price was well below blue book so we jumped on it..

So my SS is sitting safe and sound in the garage, for now...
The GF is asking me to teach her to drive a manual so she can take the Camaro to her work sometimes.....

Nice disco (and crazy low miles for that model year)! I'm going the opposite way here - taking a new job with a monthly stipend instead of having a company car. The SS will now be my DD but at least the new company makes the payments. I hope to keep mileage to a minimum but who knows. I'll miss the little A3 TDI though. Fun little oil burner!

Other than the fact that it was a Land Rover?

Or is there something else besides the oil leaks, leaky head gaskets, electrical issues, valve train issues, and ABS issues I should know about?

The mileage really caught my eye on this one too, in spite of the bad reputation they had, always liked the Discoverys.
We'll see if I regret the purchase later on down the road.

I had the option of using my SS for my work vehicle but since the new job is selling timeshare, and in the last week not only did someone puke in another sales rep's car but someone else crapped their pants in a different sales reps car....

So finding a relatively low mileage 4 door that I had even the slightest bit of interest in driving had to happen and fast.

I just cant understand not having a DD with great or good gas mileage if I had the option of owning two cars.
