4 pack gauge overlay?

I have a 2SS that came with 4 pack gauges but because it is an export model it has the metric units.

I took it apart today and saw that grey overlay with the numbers has some alignment pins and is just stuck on and can be easily taken off. (I should have took some pics)

I was wondering if anyone sells just the overlay so I can have them display the US units rather than me spending $299+ for a 4 pack that I already have?

You could just scan the overlay and then photoshop it and print it out

Just a thought

It's doable. My girlfriend is a scrapbooker, trust me. You can buy clear plastic sheets (like the ones used on old school overhead projectors in high school) then just use your printer and ta-da

Hmm those don't look frosted to me, they look like paper. Hmm I wonder if you could jut get a high res image of the standard gauges, make them the right size and then print them off and stick em on with like a glue stick or something. Food for thought.

They are definitely not paper. I know the PVC sheets your talking about and I think thats as close as we may get and it would work perfect. We would just need a good sticker made with the numbers cut out and just lay it on the PVC sheet and trim the edges with a scissors.

If i may, the sheets are frosted, If it was not then the numbers and symbols wood be clear, and there not, the light comes thru them, last i think this was done with screen printing, One screen, man it will look good all white.

That is a good point Ofer. Well the sheets I linked are able to be screen printed on so that is a possibility.
