Need Opinions on my trade-in 4th Gen Camaro for a 2012 SS, thanks!

So, im hoping to sell my car, Im getting a 2012 VR 2SS in a few months and have no idea what to value my old camaro at since its had a lot done to it, I was hoping to get some opinions.

It is a 98 V6 RS (t-tops), but dont discount it yet, lol

Here is what Ive done to it within the past 40k miles:

-Engine/Trans
Rebuilt entire engine, new longblock with warranty, oil pump, etc
Rebuilt entire Trans, w/ shift kit and vette servo, and new valve body
New PCM (computer)
New spark plugs, MSD wires, coils,
New Fuel Injectors
New Alternator
New Water pump
New Hoses/belt
New MAF, MAP, O2, Cam position sensor, Knock, Oil pressure sensors
New timing cover and idle pulley
SLP cold air intake
k&n filter

-Exhaust
Pacesetter Mid Headers
New Catalytic conv.
Flomaster Muffler
Stainless, beveled, double walled, staggered, slash dual dual tips

-Wheels/Brakes
New 17" chrome Z06 reproductions with 275-40-zr17's
Red calipers with "camaro" badge
Drilled and slotted front rotors
Hawk ceramic pads f & r

-Exterior
Composite fiberglass/poly SS hood
35th anniversary stripes
Rear dual exhaust valence from 6 liter eater
Badging, SS, "camaro" front and back
Halo Headlights

-Interior
All new black floormats
New 35th anniversary colored seat covers
New stock head unit (with all lights working lol)
All 6 speakers replaced with new stock ones
New Black Headliner
New black t-top shades
Black door panels
black rocker/footwell trim
black Inner sail panel back seat trim
new visors
New black hatch trim all the way around, with speakers
Custom Iphone dock and wiring to rear of head unit

I think thats everything, lol
I bought the car for 6k$, I know I put more than that into it, i just want it to go to a good home and what to get whats fair for it.

Everything listed has 40k miles on it max, odometer reads 200k, but just about everything has been replaced

Ive taken care of it like my baby for the past 5 years ive had it.
I have pictures of me and my dad installing engine and trans somewhere.

add ons are almost always a complete loss on used cars. dont expect to get anything more than nada will say unless you sell privately, then it is worth what you can convince someone to spend. really really dont expect to get money for replacement of used parts

4000 if clean.
the best you could get would be 5000 IMO

to me the car would be worth just keeping. you gotta think could you ever replace the car for that? but then again maybe thats why my garage is full of cars i never drive.

That is a sharp ride. Sell it private. If you were local i'd give it a look over.

So you put the old parts onto a new block? What does this have in it now?

EDIT: I dont know why I said the heads are original, they were new lol.

I will most definitely sell it privately, I know I wont get anything from a dealer.
If I cant get 4k or 5k then Ill probably keep it.

I didnt have as good of a job now as I did then, and couldnt afford insurance or gas on an ls1.

Bottom line, If I was 16 or 17 right now, I would love this, Im hoping some dad wants it for his kid as a cheap first or second car or something.

Its still a V6, I only had enough money for that at the time. The heads, valve covers, and intake are original, but everything else is new.

And I know about the SS badging, leave me alone haha I was young.

And actually I live in new orleans, so im not that far lol. I worked as a detailer thru college so the paint is still very good on it, I kept up with it as best I could.

Thanks for all the responses guys.

I guess I realize I put trade-in in the subject, lol. I just meant I need to sell it when I buy a new one, not trade into a dealer, my mistake, didnt think that one through.

My 98 z28 not as nice as your car and privately may get 5-6000, but is a low mileage car.V6 I dont know but dont trade it. Dealer only offered me 3000 trade in and said sell for double privately. For the new car, nice color choice!

Thanks, I figured I need to stay away from a dealer with it since they would only look at the odometer and not care about what I did lol.

And I went back and forth with RJT and VR then IOM and VR, but had to settle on my all time favorite lol. I cant wait to get it and start modding lol.

That may be the nicest 4th Gen V6 I've ever seen. (Not a fan of the SS badges either, but, sweet car nonetheless.)
