REMOVING Tint?

I found out in MN you can't have more then 50% tint on your windows. I have 20%. I bought the car in another state and the dealer had the windows tinted. It looks great! "BUT" I have been pulled over twice and told it's a $128 ticket. So far no tickets! I have told a couple little white lies. " Officer I just bought the car! " LOL < Now I have to remove it or have it removed. Any helpful Ideas?

Take it to a tint shop and save yourself the hassle and the time. Should cost about $15-$20 peer window

A reputable tint shop should have no problem removing it for you. If you need to have the rear window tint removed, just make sure they don't use a razor. They might cut you a deal on the removal if you have them re-tint it with a legal %.

Autozone sells aircraft paint stripper in a spray can, spray it on ur windows, leave it for about 10 min then it practically wipes off and safe on back window

Google it. I believe you can use steamer and it peels right off.

Steamer works great, ive seen them stick a black plastic bag to the inside and park in sun to heat it up. Do not use any chemicals lile others suggested. Just water, heat, and if ypu can find it actual tint remover fliud

Tint Removal

I have removed a lot of tint and its a pain the butt. I have tried all kinds of products, even goo gone. Goo Gone was a waste of money. So I go with works the best. Its a yellow can and its called GOOF OFF from lowes. It was gets pretty much removed everything I used it on. It comes in a liquid or aerosol. The tint it self should come off in one piece if done properly.
