yeah i know about mods and losing money but i would think the warranty and the clear bra would be worth something

Not to a dealer, best bet would be private sale unless your willing to take a huge loss.

Appears the ZL1 don't hold very good value.
Good for me being I'll be able to pick up a used one fairly cheap.

That is a fair trade amount. Sounds like a nice car.

They don't get the warranty, you cancel it and get a refund for the unused amount. Depending on what you paid, probably somewhere around $1500.00

You cancel it through the dealer, just take them a copy of your warranty paperwork.

Glad I read this . I have 4 years left on my Enclave warranty which I can get back also when my Camaro comes in.

Like I wrote yesterday,a dealer by me is asking $52,800 for a used '13 white couple ,manual , no sunroof ~ 3000 miles . I think that's way too high. What ever happened to losing 20% of the value when you leave the lot? People are getting new ZL1's ~50k.

This isn't always true (at least not in WA state). When you trade a vehicle here, you only pay tax on the difference. If the OP trades the car for 44k, and buys a new car for 50k, only 6k would be taxed.

At 9.8% tax, the difference is $988 or $4,900 on trade vs. no trade. To get a better deal, the OP would have to get 48.5k+ on a private sell.

Its cause they don't wanna give you shit for your car. When you want to trade it in or sale it to them. They are their to make thousands off you lol

The best bit is to keep it for a few years and drive it and have fun as much as possible then trade it or sell it yourself.....first two years it will take the biggest hit....
