Z/28 wicker bill on the ZL1 spoiler
Did it...nut inserts were a pain.....use the blade as the template and have a buddy help you mark the holes, then have dealer drill and install the blind nuts or rent the tool....

Template will help some, but the blade is the best to use....line up middle hole just with the lower edge of spoiler above the brake light, you will see the center line...others at the far end just below the top edge of the spoiler...I'll post some pics up later of this as the edge of the outer spoiler slopes down and the nut insert does not sit completely flat again the spoiler. It sticks out a few mm, nothing outstanding and THE NUT INSERTS SHOULD BE DONE WITH THE PROPER TOOL...they are a pain in the REAR!!!

I actually cut slots on the underside of the spoiler to allow myself room to insert needle nosed vise grips...I will go back and close these but really not no need to close them up as there are holes all ready under the spoiler? I'm just picky and want it done right...I may by the Z/28 spoiler and use it with a wicker bill, but the tool is key to this install.
