I am speechless.. dyno results.. with bolt ons.

Ok so I go to The Dynoshop today just down to road in Santee. I wanted to check and make sure since my last dyno tune out in Texas on 93 octane that I am not getting crazy knock/ping since now running 91 octane... Soooo

Ok Dyno numbers out in Texas, 420hp 427ftlbs at the wheels

same mods.. minor tuning to the timing...

468hp 451ftlbs..

This was done on a Dynomax, Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer, basically at sea level. IAT was right around 57 degrees thanks to a awesome ADM CAI.

See for yourself... I cant believe these numbers... but it was consistant run after run all with ADM CAI, Pacesetter Headers, no cats, 3 inch pipes, x-pipe, Magnaflow Bullet mufflers and tune.

Waiting for a backordered Polished Maggie and then in goes ADM Stage 2 cam, ADM stage 2 Fuel System, Maggie and ARH Headers. This should get interesting but I think I have a FREAK monster engine. Everyone in the Dynoshop was jaws to the floor today.

Anyone got any idea how I got these numbers? LMAO!

Oh, and video of one of the runs coming soon.. Got to love watching flames shoot out the tip.. remember, no cats! haha

I want to take a run at that dyno.

Somethings not right. Your 420/427 run was at the top of believable with your mods. Of course your 1/4 mile MPH will tell the tale.

I'm gonna have to say that something is up with the dyno, you usually dont get 48 hp from nothing lol

I hope this isn't your final tune. From the video, my car had the same issues on the first tune. The car appears to be running lean up top. Creating a few degrees of knock and some timing retard. The fire out the pipe is not good.

Nope it wasn't the final tune. Final tune = no flames.

seen dirty electronics on a dyno cause 25-35% over real numbers.. and no one ever knew until weeks later. Track #'s would tell you if it is a freak.. VERY doubtful..

lol stripes have been on since the car was built.

Dan, I think thats probably the issue here. Going to run on another dyno next week to see whats what. I do not believe these numbers but the car does feel very strong but not that strong.

Sounds suspect. But I'm in SD to. How much was pulls? JBA is charging 2 / $90 back to back pulls. (Meaning no tuning done) I'm looking to get it tuned up when I get the rest of my boltons.
