I picked up my SS/RS, yellow with black rally stripes, last Tuesday.
On my way home from work, there's this one road where there's one driveway at the start of it & then nothing for quite some distance, except for an overpass. The speed limit's 50km/h. The police will sit on either side of the overpass & catch speeders as they come over the overpass, so I take it easy on that road.
Today I'm driving home doing 55km/h & sure enough a police car is coming towards me. We pass & I go over the overpass. I look in my mirror & see this police SUV, a Tahoe I think, racing up on me. They guy gets right on my bumper. I'm thinking, come on man, this is a brand new car! He then crosses the solid yellow line like he's going to pass me, so I pull to the right side of the lane. He then slows down & pulls a u-turn. I guess he (or she) just wanted to take a look at the car.

Same thing happened to me on I95S in around DC in February.

Actually, I found it kind of humourous. I just didn't like the fact that he rode my bumper. Plus, he was really moving to catch up.
I don't think he was running my plate since he crossed the solid yellow line into the oncoming lane & sped up to get more beside me.

Umm. If the car's brand new, it has paper tags, not plates. Kinda hard to run those.

Up here, the dealer registers the vehicle & gets plates for it.

Same here, but it usually takes a month for them to come in.

WTF is up with that? Cops want to start a road rage with you now? I don't understand why is it just because the law is on their side they have a mentality to "do whatever they want". Either pull me over or get the F*@K away from ME.

As far as I'm concerned you should've ran THAT cops plates and pulled HIM over for wreckless driving lol

Plates are on the car prior to delivery.
