That is in drive with rpm in the lower range. Sounds a bit different at high rpm.

They are trying to find the permanent solution to the BCM, but I have it scheduled for pickup next week regardless. So it will be heading back to Florida this month.

Bruce I think your car needs realigned.

Tell them to get the steering wheel straight.

Actually you are correct. It has not been realigned after the suspension changes so it is not centered. You have a sharp eye...

PQ has learned my trick for finding problems with everything. I think I've passed on my anti-King Midas touch.

Well, it's from my own experience. I just had my car aligned on Thursday and it STILL isnt' as straight as it should be. Even after having them pay extra attention to it. Must not be easy to do.

Bruce I have been following your thread for a while and your car is awesome..

I would die to have a nelson racing engine in my camaro and 1 of the toys you own...

My suggestion about the BCM is very simple. Skip the middle man and go to the manufacturer.

Obviously there are users on this site that work for GM, have one of them make a phone call to the programmers of the BCM at GM headquarters and see if they help you program out limp mode.

You may have to fly them down, or something but I think it is 100% for someone that programmed it to remove the security logic/ limp mode. But they need to know how it was programmed to do so.

What you fail to grasp is this isnt GM these modules are bought from someone else. And then usually the maker doesnt even speak english. Car companies have various suppliers for everything. When i worked at the proving grounds I probably could of got him directly in contact with someone that may be able to help but that was over 10 years ago and GM closed down that facility anyhow I think nissan owns it now.

I dont know if it has changed recently but back when i worked at a gm dealership we would try to solve issues of this nature to all the steps defined and document our work etc. Then we had to create a case in a GM database then usually a regional rep would contact us and may possibly have some other stuff to try. Then if that didnt work they would schedule some one to come in and check it out and from there not sure never saw a case go past that point...

Maybe fbodfather can help not sure what his role is with GM...
