Intake Manifold help

I'm searching for a new intake manifold but aren't sure which one may be best. I'm looking to flow more air from around 2500 up to 7500 RPM. The Holley Hi-Ram is only good for the upper power band. I've heard good things about the Edelbrock Victor series. I'm not to fond of the FAST because there are too many up and down reviews about it. Since there is nothing consistent about it, it's something I would want to stay away from. Those are the only three I know about and I am interesting in know what people think about these and if there are any that I may be missing. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with stock. I would just save the money and put it towards something else or a smaller pulley.

I've got the smallest pulley already. I'm pushing 23 lbs at sea level and 20 at my elevation. Short of adding NO2, I'm looking to get more power to the wheels.

What are you making? Cam swap or swap to billet Ysi would be next. Maxed out Ysi should be a solid 1100-1150rwhp car.

I got some information that Vortech might be coming out with a new impeller for the YSi. I have no idea what my power level is right now because I've gone down in pulley, and I added the Dana 60, so I don't know what parasitic loss is. With the ported heads, and a stock manifold, I don't know if there is any air restriction, so I'm exploring the new manifold to see if I can get a little more power.

Yep, new impeller just let's you lean on rpms even more. No other improvement (efficiency, etc)

Why a Victor Jr., and not a Super Victor? I know that one is taller than the other, but even still, Jason you have a cowl hood, so I'm assuming that hood clearance isn't an issue.

I have a cowl hood but the vic jr will fit under a stock hood. I am getting a different intake with the cowl hood for the F3

The cowl on my hood is about a 3" raise so I'm pretty sure either one will fit. Let me ask you this, if you could swap out, would you have gone with the Super Victor?

Would the Super Victor work with the extra 3" of space I have? Or, would I be better off with the Victor Jr, and a spacer and port matching?

The super victor is only .270 (just over 1/4) taller at the carb flange than the Vic jr, according to their website. It just has larger runners and a 4500 series carb flange (dominator carb) option if needed. So either one clear a cowl hood with no problem.

If you want those rpm's, get a cam and valvetrain to take you there. Intake isnt going to do it.

With a cowl hood it should fit. I ended up buying the Victor Jr. It had more to offer in the powerband. However, after I bought it I decided not to use it so now I'm trying to sell it with matching fuel rails.

What intercooler are you running? Nice gains to be had improving the flow and cooling.

It's ECS's standard intercooler. It's good for 1000+, but a bigger one would be more helpful. With more air cooled, I can flow better air.
