Actually according to Fbodfather the black stripes are really Satin but they are close to flat and definitely not glossy.

I personally like the satin/flat stripes. It reminds me of the old muscle cars that used to come with flat black hoods, stripes etc.

The Transformer Edition stripes are satin and the others are flat black.

best way to clean is with a detail spray wax,I never had a problem with mine, I have waxed them twice with meguirers tech wax 2.0. the purple can.

Black stripes are Matte or kind of flat, but the rest are more glossy.
