Drag times has the DA on the 15th @ 10:53 at -745. That's still gd enough to make that slight gain.

Headwind could definately account for a lack of increase of trap speed with the PTB in cooler air.

One thing Padre does with all his mods is he corrects all his times for DA. He has a nice chart with all his mods and the corrrected times his car ran after each mod.
That's still not perfect but its about the best you can do.

Just have to be careful when reporting gains from mods (as Supercharged SS mentioned -DA, 60' time, etc needs to be almost identical for gains to be valid). I know someone in this forum that reported 3 mph increase in trap speed with a PTB. He even reported the weather (DA) was similar on each day.
But when I check, the air temperature was 20 degrees cooler the day he ran 3 mph faster with the PTB.
So that's where the gains came from.

Lol, My car only ran 12.2 in the summer heat with the yank 3200 and bolt ons. Stock pulley. I was trapping 113.xx Im ready see what trw427ss runs in average weather. Good run regardless, I may have to come to LA to try for 10s with the setup instead of memphis if the tracks are that good.

I know the feeling well being in Southwest FL. I missed this winter's racing due to a torn tendon in my right ankle.
I ran 12.10 (20" wheels and full weight) and was hoping to get down in the high 11s with the addition of 18" wheels. But by the time my ankle heals up, it will be 90 degrees with 70% humidity down here.

I guess there's always next year.

I wish trw427ss would bring the freak of a monster up to memphis Feb 28th
so we could see how freakish it really is. Maybe he could run 12.5's up here.

Thanks for posting that calculator, now I know how crappy of a driver I really am.

There is no way I could get my car down the track as fast as that thing says I should. I really need to get some practice with this beast. Sucks not having a track near me anymore.

That's still not perfect but its about the best you can do.
I tried doing that once when running different cold air intakes, DA correcting them and posting the results. Everyone was like "that's stupid" and stuff, so I just deleted it.

According to that calculator, w/ my trap speeds I should be going 12.1... Losing too much time shifting gears 3 times I guess.

Nice runs trw427ss! Doubt I'll ever make the 11 sec club.
