18"x9.5rim. What size tires?

First post guys and new to the camaro family. I just bought a 1995 red Z28 and it's got 235-55-16 tires on it. Im wanting to put the C6 Z06 rims that are 18"x9.5". I've saw a lot of people saying 275-35-18 tires for replacing a 245-55-16 tire. The 285-35-18 seem to be more of the same as originals. Will they fit all 4 corners? Thank you.

Somebody's got to have 18" wheels. What size tires do you run?

The 285 is the better choice, but they are harder to find. Look at tire manufacturer websites, and compare the overall diameter to that of a 275/40/17. The 285 is only 3/8" wider, and depending on the exact tire, maybe not even that much. The 275/40/17 is a sure fit on these cars, so compare to that.

Buuuttt... Either the 275/35/18 or 285/35/18 will work just fine, so choose which ever is available in the tires you want.

I swap to a 245/40/18 drag radial on the rear for the track, it seems to look good, but there is room to go bigger. I still run the factory 16's all the time on the front, so I can't really say how they would work up there.

They will fit the rear and should fit the front, but I'm running 18x10's with 275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 rear.

I ran 275/35/18 on all four corners of my WS6. The car was lowered 1.5 inches...no problems except for hard cornering at speed. If you're not lowered, not a problem.
