Here it is magnum. Don't know how much it would help you.

VMAX Black Ice-olator isolates the intake manifold from the direct heat transfer from the cylinder heads and also shields the intake from radiated heat from the engine block

Also the simple IAT sensor relocation:

If I'm hot lapping I'm ok, but as soon as we are sitting in the lanes the heat from my headers raise the IAT. I have the 3/8th ice-olator. I also tried the IAT relocation and my times were extremely awful for some reason. I think I need vents to get the heat out, but I saw the install instructions and don't think I can do that myself.

The Mustang has ceramic headers and a composite intake.

Do you open your hood between runs?

When we park in the pits I do. Most of my temp rise is from waiting in the staging lanes later in the day when the track gets crowded. We get lined up, then they will send the cars with slicks, the bikes will then go (they take forever), then they will let street cars run and some times there is 5 lanes full of them.

I'm trying to find the one time I did do a quick tire spin at the water box and my 60' times were lower, so I may just need to get the engine revved high to suck in cold air. Or I could just ceramic coat my headers.

The v6 auto can only get 3.55. I plan on putting a 1LE differential with the 3.91 gears. Will have to upgrade a lot of parts at the same time though. Chevy really needs to make a v6 performance package for the Camaro.
I really want a set of headers...:(

Educate me... While certainly possible, its impractical to change gear ratios on the v6 camaro isn't it?
The Camaro V6 automatic only option is a 3.55, but the manual can get whatever the SS guys can get...basically whatever they want. Wish the auto was the same way!

I love that my wife and I are not the only ones with both a Camaro and Mustang in the garage.

Are you ever worried about lightining hitting you for doing that..........sometimes I am, lol

Awesome. Not too worried about lightning, we also have a Mazda CX-5 sharing the garage with the Mustang and Camaro, if anything a volcano would be coming out of my garage.

Well, Mother's Day is coming up, would make a nice gift

I hear ya man. I hate that you are stuck with the front plate in Ohio but glad NOT to see it on the Shelby. I used to live in NE Ohio and hated the front plate thing..........not that I ever put it on though. Sweet rides!

Thanks. She always wanted to drag her car since she got it and she was the one that talked me into going there the first time. Its fun, can't wait till we go next Friday, haven't been in 2 months.

Very nice. A little friendly competition in-house is good for a marriage.
