TSP Headers and Gears

Went down to Colorado Springs today and met with the guys over at RMCR. Finished up the Posi Mod and 3.91 Gear installation. Two weeks ago, they installed my TSP Headers, did my tune and provided me my current set of numbers. I am very happy with the service and product these guys provided, very happy with the numbers too!!

What size headers? 2" or 1 7/8" ? And nice numbers!

I have not had the ability to really put any load on it during corners at the moment. I can understand what people complain about in general though, I had a similar mod on my Silverado a while back and it was great in a straight line, but was not as effective in the corners as limited slip is.

When you say fitment was "pretty good" that leads me to think that there was a slight issue? Are they touching somewhere??

It touched the steering shaft boot, but not the shaft itself, so I was not too concerned about it.

Mine is within 1/8" too. They're the 1 7/8" headers. A little closer than I would like, but it has caused me 0 problems. Those boots can take the heat no problem. Same with the back of the spark plug wires on the driver's side.

Cool, so no noise or vibration from just touching the boot right?

I have the 2" TSP's. It was touching the boot as well. I didn't want it that close so I dented it til it was about an 1/8th away. I hated doing it.. but I didn't want to melt the boot.

It won't melt, and mine relaxed over time. It was touching when i installed them, but after a couple weeks i had some clearance.

I have not heard any type of noise out of it and have had it for two weeks now. My boot has not done any melting either.

As for the Posi Mod, I am not sure what they fully did, but I do know they added clutches to it, I believe they mentioned two more.
