I experienced my first recall problem.....Everything is ok...

So I finally experienced my first 2013 Camaro recall issue. What a joke, and I am glad it's happening.

Here's the link LABEL

So the "new" recall is that the airbag label may peel off the sun visor. I am soooooo happy this is happening to my car cause I've been trying to find a way to remove them. They're so ugly. Only it peeled partially, still need to peel it off some more.

Anybody who doesn't know what or how an airbag works, shouldn't be driving a car in the first place. 2cents

Just hope they don't come up with anymore stuff :wishluck:

I heard (don't ask me to cite my sources) that we may get recalled because, it turns out, objects in mirror are MUCH closer than they appear, and, damnit, the warning etched in the mirror only says that they are "closer..." not "much closer."

I've been advised not to drive the car until this is corrected, because I have a tendency to forget to read the warning every time, and, besides, it's apparently not worded to correctly 'reflect' just how much closer objects are. Very scary stuff.

I would have no idea. My first mod were custom black stickers to cover those ugly things.

It's 2014, how do we not have the technology to make objects in the mirror exactly as far as they appear?!?!?

They should recall them to remove the airbag sticker because the mental anguish of looking at the ugly sticker is causing me to need medical marijuana.

I got a couple of removed visors where the stickers had completely fallen off from the dealership I go to. Switched out for my good ones. Now I have a clean set on the car and the legal set in a box in my garage.
