Are you just doing the HID kit in your Halogen housing? If so, it's pretty straight forward. Look through this DIY.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69917

Which color of lights did you buy?

Now...when your ready you should consider doing a HID projector retrofit. The performance and visibility is 100x better. You'll probably get people flashing thier brights at you on occassion with just the bulb in a Halogen housing. You won't get that with a retrofit.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Well....I now have HID projectors with 5000k lights.

When I was using the HID bulbs in my halogen housing I originally tried 8000k because they were the most popular. They were too blue for my taste and they actually cut down a little on visibility.

After about 2 wks I went to 6000k which were much better. That's the color I would recommend personally.

BTW: I'm about to pull off my V-LED 6000k fog lights because I'm going to go to a 5000k set. If you're intrested in some let me know and I'll sell them to you pretty cheap. I hate to see them just sit on my workbench.

This might help.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...ght=fog+lights ..... post #5

Definatley recommend taking the fog light housing out....100x easier to plug in the bulbs that way.

They seem a little difficult to do the first time but once you've done them they are pretty easy. I can have my fog light housing out in about 5 mins. Unfortunatley I've had to do it a couple times.

If you have the means, it's easier to get to them by releasing two of the clips on the inner fender well. Those are super easy to take off and even easer to put back on. That will give you a little more room to get to the black ring that holds the housing in. It's not a must but just makes it easier.

Which fog lights did you buy?

Hey guys what are the stock rs lights 4000k? Do They sell the same style for the fogs I assume? Is there anything other than switch them out or does it involve alot of work?

They should be 4300k. You can get the new P13w Plasma or LED from someone like AAC.

The RS bulb is different than the non-RS.

Here's the problem the part that twists into the headlight housing broke in half. Was wondering if you were using your bulbs at all and could spare the part

I bought the 6k bfxenon to match the headlights. I think there is a need to snip wires in this install?

Shoot me a picture. Might be something that BfXenon can get for you as well.

Hmmm.....that's one of the reasons why I didn't go with BfXenon's kit. I'm not fond of doing permenant things like that. You could probably just expose a little of the wire behind the factory plug and touch the wires there. That's what I did with my V-LED fogs. Don't snip your wires....I think you'll be sorry if you do.

The other reason I didn't do BfXenon's fogs is for price. You can get the V-LEDs shipped for right around $100. I'll probably be selling mine for about 1/2 that. They look great for 6k. Just a little too blue for me now.

I just pulled my 6k fogs off and put in my old AAC ones. They are almost too white for the 5k lights I have but not too bad. I think I'm going to leave them this way for a while since they didn't cost me anything.
