Lighting Legaly ?

Iv Searched and have found nothing on this setup..
Im looking to put white neons in between the upper and lower grill ( so it would glow up both the grills at night )
and red in the rear diffusier ( so under the rear and in the exhast holes would glow red.)

Being this white on the front and red on the back, and not being able to see ither of the lights just the glow they put off. Would this be legal. im in texas if that makes a difrence.
I was originaly gona go red on the front but thats highly ilegal and i dont wanna pay for somthing i cant ever use.
Sorry if this is posted somwhere else on the fourm, iv heard any color of underglow/grill glow is ilegal and iv also heard red was legal in the front ( by a not so smart Autozone worker )
Thanks

red is illegal if it's in the front and if it's pulsing.

Red is illegal in the front period while on public roads. If it's pulsing you can also get arrested for impersonating an emergency vehicle (which is a felony and a massive fine). You will need to look up your states statutes but in most states the only colors allowed up front is white and amber. This makes colors (such as purple and green) illegal as well.

You can still have these colors but they MUST be controlled by a switch AND can only be on while in a car show/event or on a private lot. Once you enter public roads they become illegal.

As for under glow/grill glow, this varies. In NC any under glow/grill glow is illegal while on public roads while in some states it's not.
