SUBJECT: Convertible Top Enhancements

MODELS: 2011-2012 Chevrolet Camaro
Equipped with Convertible Top
THIS PROGRAM IS IN EFFECT UNTIL APRIL 30, 2014.

CONDITION
Certain 2011-2012 model year Chevrolet Camaro vehicles, equipped with a convertible top,
may have a condition in which the headliner corner support bracket may contact or tear the convertible top when the top is in down position, and may have wind noise at the front and/or rear quarter glass.

CORRECTION
Dealers are to modify the corner support bracket to eliminate the possibility of a tear in the convertible top, and install wind-proofing material and adjust a tension spring to eliminate the wind noise.

There is more info.,along with pictures, but I'm unable to post them.
Excellent! Thank you very much for sharing!

Sure does sound like repackaging.

Put a shiny new label on that bottle of Ketchup but its still the same ketchup.

Not sure if that's it, but they said they had a TSB for it.
My face plate looks like it has small pin-hole bubbles in it - almost like there is a protective plastic that has air pockets. I was planning on having the dealer take a look.

If you read any of my other posts, my dealer ..dealers ... Are idiots. One told me that converts start out as a coupe and they take it to an aftermarket place to have the top chopped off. One dealer crashed my car... The other dealer, didn't know how to put the top down. ( piece in truck wasn't secured )
Gm is looking bad in my eyes

I've had 3 different camaros. ALL have had that dash inset replaced at least 4 times on each. 2 were 2012 one was 2013. Seems like this is a major headache for them. But it is an easy fix takes about 15 minutes. I just brought my brand new 2012 2SS/RS to have this item replaced and the service tech crashed my car. Best part is the dealer BONDOED my rear bumper, not replaced, and this is ok for them. They will not replace my bumper. BS!
