Top Gear Camaro Review [VIDEO]

Hopefully we'll see a longer review sometime soon. I love these guys, they do stupid stuff all the time (like a camaro vs an AMG) but they are entertaining. I think GM needs to add the "redneck button" for 2012 like the AMG had. Funny how the camaro stereo type translates overseas. Murders isn't quite the stereotype here, somehow mullets and wife beater t-shirts turn into murders across the Atlantic. Thanks for whomever got this posted up, we'll have to wait several months to catch this on BBC America.

I always have to remember...these TopGear Episodes are hilarious...but I tend to laugh AT them...not with'em...(who drives a Fiesta and a Vette through a mall, really?!)

To be honest with you, I think they do these odd pairings just so they can get to drive as many cars as possible..lol. I'm seriously betting its time constraints. Besides, it worked in our favor. Instead of getting 5 minutes of praise for the car and five minutes negativity, We got 5 minutes of how good the Camaro is and 5 minutes on how the Mercedes is better. Trust me, thats alot better than them picking the car apart for 5 minutes.

I have been watching Top gear for a long time. I don't get upset because they bash certain cars. Its only entertainment. I bet if Fifth Gear reviews the Camaro, and the reviews are not perfect, there will be complaints too.

These are the cars own by the presenter of Top Gear. Hammond owns a couple of American cars. Clarkson owns a few Fords.

When I was in Manchester 2 years ago i was out to dinner with a few of our Briitish customers and we were talking Top Gear. They were amazed that I was a fan and especially my love for Clarkson. They were quick to point out that he hates Americans and thinks we're all fat stupid red necks. I replied that's why I like him, because he's right.

This thread just re-enforces that stereotype.

Wow a euro car show threw in a euro car and $60k+ more in cost, and then picked the euro car to win. Shocker.

Next we'll have a comparison of a Honda Accord and a Porsche Carrera, then we'll all act surprised when the German judges pick the Porsche.
