I figured I'd do one of these since this car has been a long time coming. I've always wanted a Camaro for as long as I can remember. Right when I got into a position to buy one, circa 2002, the Camaro was discontinued, so that dream took a back seat for a long time. Well, in March of this year, on a whim, I took a drive in my 2010 Tundra Limited to the bowtie dealership "just to look". Well, I test drove the car and decided that my truck was going bye bye for the SS. She's a 2011 2SS/RS M6 in Victory Red with black ralleys. I bought it 20 days before I deployed to Afghanistan. I'm a stickler for the warranty, so until it runs out, basic bolt ons are going to have to do me for now.

I have a CAI from Cold Air Inductions that I'm going to install tomorrow. I'll post pics once that's done.

Got a couple of cosmetic things installed today as well as the CAI. All this done just in the nick of time for her to go into storage and for me to head back to Afghanistan. Here are a few shots:

Added the SLP Flat Black Gill inserts:

Back in Afghanistan now with nothing but time to look at parts and think about what I'm going to do to the ole girl when I get home. Since the car is brand new and only about 8 months old, I think I'm going to stick with minor bolt ons and cosmetic stuff until I get some more miles on it. I wanna ensure that things are all good from the factory before I start throwing the warranty out the window. So far, I've ordered a couple things so that they are there for me when I get home. Some of the goodies are:

RX Catch Can in VR with Black fittings and stainless braided hose
Emblem Pros Onyx 4th Gen "SS" to go in place of the "Camaro" lettering on the fender
AAC Painted LED turn signals and Chrome Parking Lights

I'm sure the list is going to grow and my wife is going to be pissed off at the stack of parts piling up, but oh well. No rain, no rainbows. More to come.

Ordered the ABL Footwells and ABL Dome/Trunk lights from Southwest Speed the other day. May can't come soon enough!

Got a few things added today. Here are some photos.

Added the Lloyd's Mats and Pedals from Ohio Speed

Added the painted and tinted LED side markers from AAC.

Debadged the lettering on the front fender and added the LS3 in place of the SS on the rear deck. She's coming along nicely!

I added some AAC afterburner tail lights to her and plastidipped the tail light bezels. I think it looks pretty good! Forgive the dirt, she gets a bath tomorrow!!!!
