Yes. It comes with an extra piece to make it work. I believe you need to specify you have the CAI cai when you order it.

You won't be disappointed. Catch can is a snap to empty and reservoir makes for an easy fill and has an aluminum cap that's way better than the plastic Roto-Fab.

Looks like you popped the D3 logo plate off your tank. Was it difficult? I'd like to do that to mine as well.

I bought it from D3 that way. They are local here so I just went down and picked it up. The others are welded on so no way it's coming off.

I would love to have the D3 but I just cant get past that ugly large logo welded on the top. If they offered a group buy with it just like mlee's I bet they would sell faster than they could make them.

They make them either way. Just ask Apex Chase to get you one without the logo. D3 has a bunch already made up.

They install very easy and fit perfectly.

Well that is great to hear ! Looks like I was a little behind the times. I was going off the information when they were first released and would not leave the logo off. I will get in touch with Chase at Apex asap ! Thanks for bringing me up to speed

OK, a couple of dumb questions on the D3 tank. I bought the tank only from a member here, so I'm trying to piece this together to install it, sans instructions.

Looks like a fitting/elbow screws on the top "port". What type fitting is that? Size?

Is there a fitting on the bottom port? Or does the hose from the pump just fit onto that port?

Seems extremely simple to install. Cut the line from the pump and install the tank in the middle.

What do I fill the tank with? Should I fill it completely up or leave a little room for fluid expansion?

Sorry for all the questions. I got a really good deal on the tank only and really want to get this on my ZL1 soon!

The bottom port, circled, is just a plug. The elbow, arrow, should look like this. Hopefully you got both of these. Other than that you're right. just cut the hose and put the reservoir in-between. Only have to drill one hole.

Not sure what size these are. A phone call to D3 would probably work for you.

Thanks for the pictures, they helped a lot! That black elbow is my missing link, so I'll need to contact D3. Funny thing is, all the web links to the business are dead. Does anyone have a phone number or good web link?

anybody have any before and after data on the D3 tank? I am still just thinking about adding a chiller instead of HX and tank.

No hard data. However I do road course race my ZL1 and having the D3 tank is very nice to add more fluids or ice. Also having the D3 tank & Heat Exchanger combo really help out. I was doing ~20 minute sessions in 100+ heat here in Texas and wasn't having any issues. Granted when I did a 30+ minute session the coolant started to boil... But I was running in some seriously harsh conditions.
