New Fuel Door

I finally installed a chrome fuel door for black 2LS!! It took me less than 5 minutes to install.

I share this same question. I've considered going with a black one, the locking type. To experiment, I tried taking off my current cover but was not successful. Perhaps I don't understand the instructions. Would love to hear more from you on your install.

Hey Guys! It was not hard to install at all. The funny thing is...the instructions states to use a screw driver. SMH!! LOL! I used a youtube video to guide me through the installation. It took me 3 minutes. All you have to do is tug and pull the door towards you. It's easy!! It's not the one that comes with a lock. Check out this video link:
(the video shows a fuel door with a lock; however, the removal is the same as the one one without a lock)

I spent $118 for it on Ebay. The dealer charges over $200 for it...lol!

The lockable doors are pretty much useless. You can't syphon fuel out of it anyways.
